About us
The story behind evidenca.eu
evidenca.eu wasn't born as a startup idea — it grew out of a concrete industrial project.
The platform began as a returnable packaging tracking project (cylinders, IBCs) in the chemical industry for Sotom d.o.o. The goal was to establish a clear overview of asset circulation between locations, users and partners — without disrupting existing processes.
The project showed how significant an impact a simple, yet systematically designed solution can have on visibility, accountability and operational efficiency.
From that, a broader platform for tracking tools, equipment and other assets gradually emerged — for companies where things move between teams, vehicles and locations.
Technical foundation
The core of the system is built on over a decade of experience developing complex applications and numerical models.
Previously, we built:
- numerical simulations and custom simulation tools for the automotive industry,
- an internal web application for a telecommunications company, integrated with multiple external services,
These experiences shaped the way evidenca.eu is designed: a thoughtful architecture, clear data flows and long-term stability instead of quick, short-term fixes.
evidenca.eu is not an experiment — it is a platform built on real-world project experience.
The team

Jaka Dujc
Jaka is a development engineer with more than two decades of experience in computational modelling, data systems and software development.
At evidenca.eu, he is responsible for the system architecture, core platform development and long-term technical stability. He places strong emphasis on sustainable design and clear data structures that allow the platform to scale without replacing the underlying system.
In addition to industrial projects, he lectures at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana, where he teaches courses related to information technology and digitalisation of processes.
He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering. His research focuses on numerical modelling and information systems in construction.

Ivana Dujc
Ivana brings over 15 years of experience in administration, logistics, operational coordination and executive support across both international and local companies.
Throughout her career, she has managed office operations, coordinated teams, handled financial and HR administration and ensured that business processes run smoothly and in compliance with regulations.
At evidenca.eu, she is responsible for client communication, business operations and onboarding support. Her focus is to keep the system practical, clear and aligned with real business needs.
She ensures that technology remains a tool rather than an obstacle — and that implementation is structured, transparent and efficient.

Jerneja Dujc
Jerneja has more than ten years of experience in project management, product development and partner coordination in both Slovenian and international settings.
As a product manager, she took projects from the initial idea and market research through to implementation and results analysis, working closely with sales and marketing and preparing content, presentations and web pages.
At evidenca.eu she looks after customer relationships and business development: she supports customers from the first conversation through implementation and beyond, and makes sure their needs feed into the development of the system.
She speaks French, Italian, English and Croatian and leads the adaptation of evidenca.eu for markets abroad, from translations to local specifics.
A family business
evidenca.eu is a family business.
We believe in long-term partnerships and a personal relationship. We are not building for a quick exit — but a stable solution that companies use for years.
Every customer has their own dedicated instance of the system and direct access to us — no anonymous support centres or multi-tier support structures.
If a solution doesn't make sense for your company, we will say so clearly. If it does, we'll help you integrate it into your existing way of working — without unnecessary disruptions.
